- Does MOSH-1 work if the sun isn’t out?
Yes! Solar Energy from MOSH-1 is harvested and stored in internal batteries that hold up to 570Kw per unit. Efficiency is slightly reduced on cloudy days but solar energy comes from UV rays which are still present in ambient light. At night when there is no sunlight, your energy is coming from the solar power stored in the batteries. It's also important to manage expectations regarding its performance based on how much battery storage you are working with and what you are trying to power. - How has MOSH-1 been tested?
Mosh1 was present in one of the hardest hit areas of Hurricane Beryl in Houston in 2024. Mosh1 sustained 85 mile per hour winds and maintained battery power at 93%. The unit itself had the remote control wings down and sustained zero damage even though it was outside. The solar panels are rated at 85 miles per hour at 3 inches of rain. Additionally, we performed our own test and turned off the solar panels for two weeks (you can do that) and after two weeks MOSH-1 still maintained 35% power in the batteries even though the air conditioner (69 degrees), lights, two 45-inch tv’s and a refrigerator were left running 24 hours a day. - So what happens if something breaks?
MOSH-1 is under warranty for ten years as long as it’s not broken by operator error. - Wow, well what happens if I break it?
Never say never …. but…. this is almost impossible. First of all, we will train you and it will take about ten minutes… unless you have questions. We are always happy to answer questions. Secondly, you will have a simple instruction manual in case you forget. And honestly it’s as simple as pulling the pins, and pushing the remote control button to deploy the wings and get to work! - Is there a lot of maintenance?
The same kind of maintenance you have on solar panels at your house. Minimal, unless you want to spray the dust off for aesthetic appeal. However, MOSH-1 does carry an optional maintenance package in case you really never want to have to think about anything but pushing the remote button and getting things powered up! - What if it snows?
It’s actually a cool trick you might enjoy… retract the wings and watch the snow fall off the unit. Solar panels actually emanate a certain level of heat. So the panels on top that don’t retract will help naturally melt the snow. - Do you need a Semi truck to move MOSH-1?
No. MOSH-1 comes equipped to be moved by a semi truck. But it also comes equipped to be moved by a heavy duty truck. Mosh-1 also has the option to come equipped with a power unit truck attached to the unit. - Is Mosh-1 only available for governments, organizations and corporations and entertainment ventures?
No. But presently there are no financing options for individuals through MOSH-1. - Can you plug water into MOSH-1?
Yes. Mosh-1 can also come equipped with a 50 gallon or smaller water tank. - Do you know Elon Musk?
